Oh man, this is so difficult to say. I’ve had several albums affect me at different stages of my life, and my answer will change depending on the time of day, mood and effect of alcohol.
But for now I’d say Thorns - Thorns (2001)
Industrial black metal.
Sheer inhuman cold ferocity, at a poetic level. Fucking masterpiece.
