thats the issue meme…when there are less than 10 people on usually only 1 or 2 of them know the maps secrets…and most of them dont become traitor

Well you can’t just ban them, and learning the map secrets can be done using a quick google. Its not about exploiting, its about learning the map and just being good at the game(making jumps that are quite hard)

…this post is just becomeing complicated cause you all seem to read posts wrong…

What? I was agreeing with your point that he should not have camped, and that i saw your point. You’ve pretty much thrown all of your current arguments out of the window as i can no longer take you seriously anymore. Before you call people retarded please get back to finishing your English exams

Calling the staff retarded is not respectful

No one will take you seriously if you treat them like that lmao

No exploitation has been done in order for the player in question to get to the secret.

No action is needed as it is a feature of the map? And calling the staff lazy isn’t making you look like somebody they would like to work with.

Again, not exploiting.

Point 1: By him camping in the secret room, a room which is closed off unless you do certain actions to open the room, actions which the traitor did not have knowledge of, this keeps him out of harms way of the traitors, by not being able to be killed this is him Exploiting the maps secrets to gain a unfair advantage, ffs how many times do i have to spell it out for you…
Point 2: the secrets may be a feature of the maps but by using them to gain a unfair advantage against the other players its not a good thing…there for certain rules should be implemented to make sure that people do take advantage of this and cause a issue…and as for calling the staff lazy and retarded…why dont you spend 24 hours…a full 24 hours on the server and tell me how many staff get on and how many of the actually do their jobs properly…then you’ll understand why i respond to them in this way
Point 3: Yes it is exploiting…they are using a maps feature to gain a unfair advantage over others…this is exploiting

Also for your information i have finished my English exams…in fact i finished the quite a few years ago…and i passed with a’s across the board…The only reason that i miss-spell things sometimes is because i type faster than my keyboard can register…so i’ll just say it again…Dont Insult me…

Its not an exploit ffs :joy: Have a definition: In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, or speed, etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game’s designers.
Using a feature added into a TTT map is not an exploit. When the map was created, whoever created it knowingly added the secret room for the very reason of giving people who played on the map a reward if they took time and explored.

And you do know that calling people retarded does not help you win an debate right? This is pretty much common sense.

And again i highly doubt that. You called the staff retarded so why shouldn’t i question your English when it is clearly effecting how we conceive what you are trying to say?

gotta disagree with you there. There’s testers, t-traps, normal traps, T-wins, Innocent-wins etc. But I don’t see you complaining about them. They all give an advantage to one side depending on the map. Basically all maps does. A small room really doesn’t make a big difference. As I have said, aswell as some others. It’s not exploiting. They’re allowed to be there. Although, they’re not allowed to stay there for the whole round or for a certain amount of time, since it would be considered camping, which is against the rules. So now, instead of making this huge topic for no reason, you could just have posted some proof, Id of the player and date if possible, and we would have taken care of it. So unless you’re gonna be posting any of that, then just don’t bother. The secret rooms will be and ALWAYS will be allowed, no matter how much you’re gonna be arguing against it, that’s just how it is.

Ffs get it right :joy:
Bug abusing: using a bug to ones advantage
Exploiting: using a intended game mechanic to produce a unintended result

couldnt the expoliting lead to abusing tho? xD

There both unintended, but i’ll give an example
In zelda you get knocked back by a bomb, and by jumping at the right time you can get to unintended places, this is an exploit

And clipping trough a wall is a bug, this is a verry vague line though

I have got it right? How is going into a room an unintended game mechanic? Whoever made the map added the room so people can go into it for a reason. You cannot compare knocking yourself somewhere with a bomb with someone opening and closing a door intended to be used for that very reason.

And no offence it is very obvious that you did not understand what i said.

I was more targeting the bug part of it, that is not correct

And yes i was just pumping out facts instead of adding something relevant cause this post is a joke anyway

There is nothing wrong with making suggestions like Neko did.

What annoys me however is that she called the staff retarded over an issue so small :’)

She needs to understand that talking to people is a two way thing. Calling someone retarded because they disagree with you is a pretty bad way of getting your point across.

No hard feelings though, as i am certain Vessel is not played much anyway

But like a map secret is not that bad, you can just place c4 to get them out.

But here’s the thing, in innocentmotel theres a bug where you can jump in the elevator shaft and then be out the map, this is really bad since this is an instant win for the inno’s

Compared to the Vessel room which was intended, the Innocent Motel bug was 100% not intended and should be a slayable offense. That i agree with as it is abusing the maps errors for an unfair advantage.

However as the Vessel room is intended i would say they are two separate situations that would require different actions.
