So recently when playing HarrysMod, I have found that about 90% of the weapon skins appear purple and black for me, but only when I am holding them, e.g I can see texture for shock, if another player is holding, or if it’s on the floor. I have CSS and TF2 installed, is there anything else I need?

Well i have this problem too.
But for me, it’s because of my resolution.
My native resolution is 1920_1080
But i am playing on 1280_720 or 1024_768, and because of that, some custom textures for weapons are purple\black.
When i go to native, it’s back to normal

or, go into your inv and go to options/settings and enable legacy skins
